Jimmie Dale Gibbs

Jimmie Dale Gibbs, born April 17, 1944, went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2025. Originally a resident of Greenville, MS, she and her husband Jimmy moved to his hometown of Lake, MS, in 1971, where they resided together until his passing in 2022. Her visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 5 PM until 8 PM in our funeral home chapel in Lake, MS, and Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 12 PM until 12:45 PM at Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS. Her funeral service will follow at 1 PM. Bro. Bobby Everett will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services. Her burial will follow at Pine Ridge Baptist Cemetery. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.L. and Margaret Williams, her son, James Michael Gibbs, her husband, Jimmy Dale Gibbs, and her four brothers, Paul "Peanut", Johnny, Mike, and Ronny Williams. She is survived by her three sons, Kenneth "Toby" Gibbs (M'Lee) of Lake, MS, Chris "Gibby" Gibbs (Dorothy) of Lake, MS, and Billy Gibbs (Renee) of Lake, MS; her daughter-in-law, Tammy Gibbs-Doughty of Forest, MS; two brothers, Leslie Williams and Joe Williams, both of Lawrence, MS and her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS and truly loved and trusted God with her whole heart. Her greatest desire was for anyone lost to come to know Jesus as their personal savior.
