Jimmie Hallford Obituary
Jimmie was born in Danielsville, Georgia, in 1920, the daughter of William and Ethel Fitts. She was also preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Pope Corbin Hallford. Jimmie and her husband were active members of Ebeneezer Baptist Church in Hendersonville, North Carolina, for many years.
In addition, Jimmie is reunited in Heaven with two daughters Phyllis Mathews (Ken) and Sharon Krzaczkowski (Gary). She is survived by a daughter Jan Brady (Larry) of Fletcher, NC; a son Mike Hallford (Andrea) of Panama City Beach, FL; two sisters Bobbie Tyner (John) and Tommie Holloway (Junior) of Danielsville, GA. Jimmie also leaves behind ten grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and nineteen great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Grassy Branch Baptist Church, 499 Riceville Rd, Asheville, NC 28805; with a visitation to be held one hour prior. Pastors Lonnie Ray and Timothy Brady are officiating with music by three great-granddaughters, Katie Goodin, Emily Burchfield and Anna Lail. A private burial to follow.
