Roger Willis Hallford

Roger Willis Hallford, 82, of Canton passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Wellstar Tranquility at Cobb surrounded by his loving family.

Born April 13, 1943, to the late Bill and Elois Hallford, Roger was raised in Toccoa. He resided in Gainesville and Atlanta before spending the last 20 years in Canton where he was a member of Antioch Christian Church. Roger was a U.S. Army veteran and graduate of Georgia Tech who spent his career in the manufacturing industry in industrial management. A loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Roger was very loved and will be missed by family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Louise Hallford of Canton; daughters and sons-in-law, Cammie and Tony Neal of Helen, Melissa and Chris Overby of Acworth, Lori and Evan Hill of Gainesville; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, and other relatives.

A private family graveside service will be held at Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery in Eastanollee, Georgia and a celebration of life service will be announced at a later date to include additional family and friends.
