Jimmie Wayne Hinnant, Sr.
May 30, 1964 – June 3, 2024
At the young age of 60, Jimmie Wayne Hinnant, Sr. tragically and unexpectedly lost his life. With this loss is left behind a grieving mother, caring children, endearing grandchildren and a loving sibling. He was born in Wake County to Jimmy Ruffin and Mary Ruth Hinnant. He loved spending time with his sons on many turkey and duck hunting expeditions. He usually used this time not only to hunt but as an opportunity to spend quality time with his boys. Jimmie was a man of strength, encouragement and integrity. His memory will be captured in the thoughts of his family in the many years to come. He cared for his family and did everything he could to ensure they were always taken care of, no matter the circumstance. His physical presence is no more, but in the hearts of those he loved most, his loving and caring spirit will live on. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Ruffin Hinnant.
Jimmie is survived by his sons, Jim Hinnant (Anna) and Matthew Hinnant (Olivia); his grandchildren, Piper Hinnant, Hailey Hinnant and Graham Hinnant; his mother Mary Ruth Hinnant and his sister, Tabitha Hinnant.
