Jimmie Lee Holmes

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jimmie Lee Holmes, age 92, on August 20, 2025, at Canyon Lake, Texas. Jimmie was born on February 20, 1933, in Montgomery County, Texas to Willie Trindel and John Morgan Holmes.

Jimmie served in the United States Navy during the Korean War then returned to Houston Texas where he worked for Goodyear then opened his own custom body shop House of Kustoms in 1976 until he retired to Canyon lake, Tx in 1991.

Jimmie (pop) is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Weems Holmes; his sons, Johnny Holmes, Jimmie (bo) Holmes (deceased), Kimberly Holmes (deceased),Mason Weems, Justin Weems and daughter Amanda Holmes (Parker); grandchildren Sumer Martin, Stephanie Holmes, Megan Holmes(Finnel), Taylor Holmes, Charles Martin II, John Martin, Christian IBE-Weems, Aydin Jakubowski, Alexa Jakubowski, along with many extended family members, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him. Jimmie is followed in death by his only brother and best friend Howard Eugene Holmes of Rosanky, TX on 8/25/2025.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Lux Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas. A Funeral Service will begin at 7:00pm.
