He was born February 9, 1944, in Alabama, son of Jimmy Austin Mims and Ruby Lois Mims.
He was a General Laborer.
Surviving are his Sister, Carol Smith; Brother-in-Law, Howard Smith; Niece, Stephanie Haynes.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Jimmy Austin Mims; Mother, Ruby Lois Mims; Brother, Larry Austin Mims; Nephew, Michael Howard Smith.
Services will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Popwell officiating.
Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, Alabama.
Martin Funeral Home directing.
