Jimmie Lee Whitaker

Jimmie Lee Whitaker, 69, of Osceola, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 3, 2025. He was born on October 22, 1956 in Osceola, Arkansas to Troy Leslie Whitaker and Ruby Lee Whaley Whitaker.

Jimmie was a member, for many years, at Osceola First Baptist Church, and retired owner of Whitaker’s Auto Parts. He never met a stranger and he loved making people laugh. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother: Charles Whitaker.

Jimmie is survived by his wife of forty-eight years: Becky Whitaker of the home, one son: James Whitaker and his wife Rebekah of Humboldt, Tennessee, one daughter: LeeAnn Whitaker Brown and her husband Edward of Jonesboro, Arkansas, two grandchildren: Destiny Brown and Daniel Whitaker, one sister: Mary Ann Marsden and her husband Joe of Paragould, Arkansas, sister-in-law: Gwen Whitaker of Caraway, Arkansas, and a host of other family members and friends. He was a beloved husband, father and PaPa, and will be forever loved.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Osceola, Arkansas. A graveside will be held at 12:00 p.m. at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens, 2173 S. US Highway 61, Osceola, Arkansas 72370.

Brother William Vasser will officiate the service.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.
