Jimmy Bishop Obituary
TRUMANN - Jimmy Dale Bishop, 69, of Trumann, departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
He was born in Trumann to the late W.C. and Helen Odell Wiley Bishop and lived his lifetime in Trumann. Jimmy was a mechanic for John Deere and was a member of the Assembly of God of Monette.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann Bishop; one brother, Jerry Wayne Bishop; one great-granddaughter, Araya Lopez; and his parents.
He is survived by two daughters, Misty Canizales and Tamera (Arthur) Jones, both of Trumann; one brother, Larry Wayne Bishop of Trumann; a significant other, Sarah Platz; 8 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
