Jimmy Keith Burress, Sr, of the Speck Ridge Community of Taylor County, the son of the late Harold "Bo" and Ruth Edna (Farmer) Burress, was born December 31, 1949, in Taylor County, KY, and departed this life on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at his residence.

He was 75 years of age.

He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and of the Christian Faith.

Jimmy enjoyed watching TV, cooking, and sitting on the porch watching and listening to nature.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, LaTisha Lee Burress Brown; a brother, Danny Burress; and a sister, Shelia Burress.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Connie (Callahan) Burress; a son, Jimmy Burress, Jr.

Also, his grandsons: Michael and Hunter Brown.

Three sisters and two brothers: Bernice and Tommy Woods, Betty and Byron Eastridge, Johnny and Sharon Burress, David Paul Burress and Bonnie Harper; his brothers-in-law: Jr and Sharon Jennings, Ronnie Callahan and Delbert Perkins, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

FUNERAL: Thursday, October 2, 2025 – 11:00 A.M.

INTERMENT: Callahan Cemetery – Elk Horn

VISITATION: From 5-8 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

PALLBEARERS: Brandon Wilson, Victor Zimmerman, Rob Campbell, Greg Farmer, David Ford, Johnny Burress, Little Johnny Burress, and Steven Woods.
