A celebration gathering for Jimmy Case, 71, will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Fair Park Baptist Church in West Monroe, Louisiana, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe.
Jimmy Case was born on October 9, 1952, in Monroe, Louisiana, and passed away on September 14, 2024. He was a veteran from the United States Army and retired as an Insurance Salesman. Jimmy was a graduate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He also was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Louisiana Cattlemens Association. Jimmy is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Case; parents, George and Mary Case; and brother-in-law, Richard Cobb.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon Cobb Case; brother, Melvin Case and wife Ruby; sister, Libby Blackmon and husband Ricky; in-laws, Wesley Earl Cobb and wife Renee, David Cobb and wife Barbara, Robert Cobb and wife Diane, Jan Cobb Walker and husband Steve; nephews, Brent Case, Jon Blackmon and wife Erin, Kendall Case, Aaron Cobb, Jeff Cobb and Steven Walker Jr.; nieces, Tamara Hennigan and husband Lee, Melinda Ponder and husband Donnie, Lisa Cleveland and husband Keith, Jaclyn Cobb, Kelly Marshall, Lauren Price and husband Keifer; numerous great- nieces and nephews; along with other extended family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews.
Memorials may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society or the National Diabetes Association.
