Jimmy Dodds Obituary

Jimmy worked many years in the building materials industry. He loved working with the public. He liked going to yard sales and being with his family. He also enjoyed playing Tonk and Rook card games and playing Snooker.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 3, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Booneville Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 10:00 and go until service time. Bro. David Harper will be officiating. Burial will be in Martin Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ellen Dodds; daughters, Jo Leenia Dodds, Leah Jane Brown (Jimmy), and Ashley Jean Lane (Manuel), all of Booneville; brothers, Howard Dodds (Carolyn), Charlie Dodds (Jo Carol), Tommy Dodds, and Virgil Dodds (Wanda), all of Booneville; sisters, Carolyn Boren and Janice Winfield (Bobby), both of Booneville; brother-in-law, Alan Borden (Jo). Jimmy leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Taylor Dodds, Jaylen Ashcraft, Kass McCoy, Landon Brown, Shelby Brown, Kindell Brown, Jimma Huguley, and Josie Lacey; 3 great-grandchildren, Jasmine Carmichael, Marvel Dodds, and Serenity Dodds. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Floyd and Emogene; brothers, Gerald Dodds, Larry Dodds, George Dodds, and Terry Dodds; nephews, Chris Dodds, Larry Boren; and a niece, Lisa Marie Dodds.

I´m so sorry I didn´t get to come, mommas funeral wasn´t over until almost 2. He looked so much like daddy in the end, and it gives me comfort knowing he is in Gods arms now. Love & Prayers! Aunt Jo Ellen , Jo Leenia, Leah, & Ashley plus all the grands.
