His surviving relatives are daughters, Carrie Mathews (Greg) and Julie Darden (Shane); grandchildren, Lawson and Reagan Darden, and Anna Blair Mathews.
Jimmy's graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Pineland Memorial Park Centreville, Alabama, with Bro. Ken Blake officiating. Pallbearers, will be Lawson Darden, Steve Cash, Wes Cash, Johnny Hoggle, Bo Cristwell, and Aaron Hood; Honorary Pallbearers, family thanks for caring for Jimmy, Bibb Medical Center, ACG Hospice, and Robin Birchfield, CRNP.
