Jimmy Goza, a resident of Texarkana, Texas, was born on November 17, 1948, in Texarkana. He lived a life marked by love, dedication, and service before his passing on May 7, 2025.
Jimmy cherished his family deeply. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Goza, whose partnership brought him immense joy throughout their years together. His legacy continues through his son, Wally Goza, and his stepdaughter, Patti Sedwick, Gabrielle, Anna, James, Scott, and Lucy. Jimmy was proud of his grandchild Whitney, who brought light and laughter into his life.
One of his great joys was the moments spent with loved ones including Carmen Nixon, Jean Baker, and James Clayton, whose camaraderie enriched his days. Jimmy’s life was also marked by the bonds of compassion and friendship, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew him.
Jimmy was predeceased by his parents, who undoubtedly shaped the values he carried throughout his life. Their influence and guidance remained with him, visible in the love he shared with his family and friends.
As we remember Jimmy Goza, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with connection and purpose. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
