Jimmy Konieczny Obituary

Jimmy had a rare gift for making others feel truly seen. His presence brought peace and comfort to everyone who knew him. His smile could fill a room, and his laughter was contagious - a sound that lifted hearts and made every moment brighter.
He loved and fought deeply and despite his challenges' he loved swimming, dancing, riding horses, enjoying a drop of coffee or taste of wine. Nothing stopped him if he wanted to do it. Jimmy also found joy in connection, in laughter, and in the quiet moments that made life beautiful. Though his time with us was far too short, his spirit will live on in all who were blessed to know and love him. We are forever grateful to him for showing us the true meaning of love, faith and how to live life.
He is survived by his parents Gia Cordaro and James T. Konieczny; his brothers Santino Konieczny & Channing Konieczny; his maternal grandmother Lora Vega & step-mother Karen Cordaro; his paternal grandparents AnnaMarie & Frank Konieczny; his aunts & uncles: Cristina (Michael) Giller, Rocco (Abby) Cordaro, Joseph Cordaro, Jenna Cordaro, Brian Konieczny & Frank Konieczny. Jimmy is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Greg Cordaro.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 565 Randy Road, Carol Stream, Illinois 60188.
Memorial gifts may be directed to Make A Wish Foundation or United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation
