Mr. Jimmy Lee Martin, Jr. was born on August 20, 1983, to the late Jimmy Lee Martin, Sr. and Cloria A. Martin in Nurenberg, Germany. He transitioned from his earthly body on August 10, 2025.

Jimmy graduated in 2001 from Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville, NC. With courage and honor, he served in the United States Army for twenty-three years. On February 1, 2024, he retired from this branch as a Chief Warrant Officer 3.

Prior to his transition, Jimmy was employed by a contractor logistics unit at Fort Bragg, NC, where he was known as a loyal and responsible employee. His sincerity shone throughout his life as a dedicated, loving husband, a strong and compassionate father, a unique son, and a respected individual.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lee Martin, Sr., and his brother, Anzio S. Martin.

Jimmy affectionately leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Tara Delaney Martin of Fayetteville, NC; one son, Malik U. Burroughs (Naya) of Hopewell, VA; two daughters, Makayla S. Burroughs of Hopewell, VA, and Ayasia M. Martin of Fayetteville, NC; his mother, Cloria A. Martin of Fayetteville, NC; one brother, Domonic D. Martin (Tomika) of Jacksonville, FL; one grandson, Roman N. Burroughs of Hopewell, VA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends.
