Jimmy Wayne Moore, age 72, of Nortonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Moore was born on October 1, 1952 in Madisonville, KY to the late Rev. Jimmie Lee Moore and Faye Merrill Moore. He worked as an underground coal miner and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Moore is survived by his daughter ~ Whitney (Samantha) Moore of St. Charles, KY; his son ~ Lee Moore of Dawson Springs, KY; one brother ~ Timothy “Timmy” (Denise) Moore of Slaughters, KY; and two grandchildren ~ Matthew Moore and Waylon Moore and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister ~ Shauna Gross and a brother ~ Terry Moore.
Visitation for Jimmy Wayne Moore will be on on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until the 2:00 P.M. funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Zack Paul officiating. Burial will follow in Gilland Ridge Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.
Active Pallbearers will be: Tyler Moore, Lee Moore, Bentlee Moore, Trey Moore, Joey Suttle and Timmy Stanley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kaleigh Smith, Maranda Moore, Brooklyn Moore, Kadyn Smith, Lilly Smith and Whitney Moore.
