Jimmy O'Connor Obituary
Jimmy grew up in a military family and moved from place to place before settling in and calling O'Fallon home. He was an avid bowler and was a part of several bowling leagues. He enjoyed watching St. Louis sports, particularly the Cardinals and Blues. In his free time, Jimmy enjoyed winding down to country music, watching television dramas and action movies, and playing computer games. In his younger years, Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman, often going camping, fishing, and birdwatching. As he grew older, he would eventually settle for enjoying the outdoor views and watching birds from his kitchen windows.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Helen O'Connor (nee Quenneville); and infant brother, Richard John O'Connor.
Left to cherish James' memory are his sister, Sandra ""Sandy"" Stelzer; his nephew, William ""Scott"" (Christine) Stelzer; and dear friends, Dennis and Connie Herbert and family who Jimmy felt as his own family for years; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Schildknecht Funeral Home.
