Jimmy Eston Rector Sr. January 10, 1945 – August 01, 2025 South Pittsburg, Tennessee Jimmy Eston Rector Sr., 80, passed away peacefully at his home in South Pittsburg, TN on Friday, August 1, 2025. Jimmy was born on January 10, 1945, in South Pittsburg, TN. Jimmy enjoyed logging. He started his own business Rector Grading and Paving. Jimmy loved the outdoors. He also loved cooking and spending time with his family and always enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. He was known to be a big spender especially on people he cherished. He traveled throughout his younger years all over the United States. He enjoyed meeting and talking to new people he met along the way. Everyone loved his outgoing personality. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Dudley and Virgie Rector, his brother; Pete (Dudley) Rector, sister; Aileen Rector, son; Jesse Rector and grandchild Rhett Rector. He is survived by his loving partner and best friend Debbie (Rector) Horne of 17 years. His children; Jim (Teresa) Rector, James (Sherry) Rector, Billy Joe (Amanda) Rector, Bobby Joe Rector, Shawn (Sara) Griffen, Dakota (Megan) Rector, Melanie Poston, Shannon Smith, Kandice (Billy) Rector, Alexandria Goforth, his siblings; Tom Rector, Johnny Rector, Joe Rector, Bisie Stewart, Mary Broad and Sarah Swafford and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) in the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Rogers Funeral Home, South Pittsburg Chapel 400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, Tennessee, 37380.
