Jimmy Clifton Shull, Sr., age 76, of Crouse, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born February 2, 1948, in Lincoln County to the late John Clifton Shull, Jr. and Rae Ellen Smith Trollinger. Jimmy was an outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and farming. He also loved animals.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Clifton Shull, Jr.; brother, Virgil Shull; and sister, Tansy Shull Jones.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sharon Gail Anderson Shull; son, Justin Shull (Elizabeth); brother, Gary Trollinger; and grandchildren, Kristina Marie Shull, Dylan Shull, Austin Shull, and Clayton Shull.
A Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home, with Pastor Johnny Caldwell, Pastor John Jones, and Pastor Brock Bruce officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery.
