Jimmy Ray Storer

Jimmy Ray Storer, 72, of Kettle Falls, Washington, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025. Born on January 14, 1953, to Leanord and Verah Storer, Jimmy was the youngest of eight siblings-Caroline, Emma, Janice, Vicki, Delia, Eddie and Patty-all of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jamie Mika (married to Dan Mika) and Jena DeLeon (married to Pablo DeLeon); his grandchildren, Michael Hetland, Ashton Hetland, Hayden Hetland (married to Kaitlyn Hetland), Daniel Mika and Deagan Mika; his great-grandchildren, Amberly Hetland, Dallie Hetland and Baylen Hetland.

Jimmy was known for his warm heart, and he cherished time spent with family and friends reminiscing about days gone by and sharing one of his many stories. He found joy in simple pleasures in life, particularly a good home-cooked meal. He lived his life grounded in his Catholic faith, guided by humility and kindness. Jimmy had a gift for making others feel at ease, and his easygoing spirit, playful sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered always.

A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held on June 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Colville flats. This will be a potluck-style gathering, so please bring a dish to share if you're able. All are welcome to attend and share in remembering a man who brought light and laughter to so many.

A Rite of Committal will also take place at a later date. Details, including time and location, will be shared during the Celebration of life.

He will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
