Jimmy Earl Webb, 79, of Carterville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at his residence, with his loving wife at his side.
Jimmy was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked in economic development for the government.
He was born on October 9, 1945 in Dixon, IL, to Junior P. and Ann M. (Affinito) Webb.
Jimmy found Jeannette, and they have spent over 20 years together. They married on July 28, 2023 in Marion, IL. She survives him in their home in Carterville.
Other surviving family are his son, James "Jim" and Veronica Webb of Houston, TX; daughter, Samantha "Sam" and Tyson Flewellen of Elgin, IL; two grandchildren, Ava Webb and Emma Webb, both of Houston, TX; two brothers, Jeffrey "Jeff" Webb of Taylorville, IL and Richard "Dick" Webb of Springfield, IL.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Reta.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be at a later time.
