Jivabhai C. Patel

Jivabhai C. Patel, 92, of Stevensville, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at his home. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Cremation will follow the service at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles. Mr. Patel was born March 16, 1920 in Dhantej, India to Chhaganbhai & Hiraben Patel. On May 15 1938 he married Shantaben Patel in India. She preceded him in death on July 23 2002. He moved to the United States with his family in 1984. Mr. Patel is survived by his two sons Rajendra (Kundan) Patel of Stevensvill; Niranjan (Sushma) Patel of Memphis, TN; four daughters Premila (Arvindbhai) Patel of St. Joseph; Manjula (Hashmukh) Patel of Decatur, IL; Urmila (Jayanti) Patel of St. Joseph; Raksha Patel of Stevensville; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. Mr. Patel was preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings.
