JoAnn Perkins, age 81, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 1st, 2024. She was born on September 26th, 1942, in Reed Springs, MO, the daughter of Clell Rantz and Peggy Elizabeth (Pace) Rantz. On July 2nd, 1960, she and Delbert Perkins were united in marriage. JoAnn retired after fifteen years with Silver Dollar City. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. JoAnn enjoyed gospel music, visiting with friends and family, and collecting rooster decor. She was a member of the Kimberling Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her daughter Onawa; grandchildren Joseph, Tascha, Tiffany, Shabdkosh, and Chainey; great-grandchildren Calypso, Liam, and Arthur; brothers Danny and David; uncles Donnie and Leon; as well as nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Perkins; her parents Clell and Peggy; her sister Carolyn; her pugs Percy and Prissy; and many other beloved pets.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8, at 10:00 am at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Bally Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at 1pm. Visitation will be on August 7th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Eastern Star rites will be conducted.
