Gerald D. Robison, 94, Hamilton, MO., passed away on March 20, 2026, in Cameron, MO., at the Cameron Regional Medical Center. Gerald moved to Hamilton in 1954.

Gerald was born in Polo, MO., on December 1, 1931, to Leonard and Nora (Gooding) Robison. He attended Deer Creek Country School through the 8th grade, and then attended and graduated from the Lathrop, MO., High School. He honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict, serving in the Army, from 1952-1954. He served overseas in Korea and Japan with the 5th Regiment of the First Calvary Division. Gerald worked as a printer and offset newspaper press operator in Hamilton, MO., for the Advocate-Hamiltonian, and Gallatin, MO., for Lakeland Publications, from April of 1957 until his retirement in September of 1996.

Gerald married Teresa Joan Lotz on July 25, 1955, at the Hamilton United Methodist Church. She preceded him in death after 32 years of marriage. He then married Shirley L. Donnelson at the Hamilton United Methodist Church on July 29, 1995. They shared their lives traveling and dancing at area senior centers. She also preceded Gerald in death, as well as his parents and his brother, Merlin W. Robison.

Gerald was an active member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church where he served on many committees and the board of trustees. He also was an exceptional Boy Scouts of America member for 10 years, serving 6 years as scout master for Troop #70 in Hamilton, and he attended Camp Geiger for 6 years where he was also a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say and was honored to hold the advanced rank of Sachem in the Tribal Council. Gerald was a 65+ year member of the Hamilton American Legion Post #285 and served as post commander and helped with numerous military funeral honors ceremonies.

Survivors include his son, Gregg Duane Robison (wife, Julie), of Odessa, MO.; grandson-Josh Goedeke; and 3 step-daughters-Judy Donnelson, Debby Ford and Kathy Schmaltz.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, MO.

A Visitation and Graveside Service with military honors are being planned and will be announced when scheduled.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Highland Cemetery, Hamilton, MO.
