Jo Binkley Obituary
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Mackens officiating. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, and again from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday.
Jo Anne entered into this life on November 6, 1938, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Rev. R.B. and Sarah Carneal Mackens. Jo Anne was an accountant at the Children's Clinic for several years, after which she was employed as a tax accountant both independently and with H&R Block. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening. Jo Anne was always taking care of folks that needed help, she considered it to be her personal ministry.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hunter "Dick" Binkley; beloved children, Richard Hunter "Rick" Binkley II and Kimberly "Kim" Binkley Crist.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Matthew Hunter Binkley, Morgan Reid Binkley, Charles Jacob "Jake" Binkley, Richard Tyler Crist, Harry Gordon Crist; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Jo Binkley, Tyler Gordon Crist, Colton Hunter Binkley, Samuel Wayne Crist; brother, Donald (Sandra) Mackens; daughter-in-love, Susan Binkley; son-in-law, Harry Crist.
Pallbearers will be Matt Binkley, Jake Binkley, Richard Crist, Harry Crist, Tommy Myers, Andrew Leiffers.
Memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse.
