Warren – JoAnn (O'Brien) Dalessandro, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, December 7, 2025 after a brief illness.

JoAnn was born April 1, 1932, the daughter of Leo and Frances Josephine (Loney) O'Brien.

She grew up in Warren and graduated from St. Mary's High School and later attended Marquette University.

JoAnn worked at Heltzel Steel and the former Union Savings Trust Bank.

JoAnn was a very active member of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church and was also a frequent volunteer for mobile meal and a member of the Red Hatters Club. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing bridge.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews: Colleen and Brien O'Connell, Janet Hovey, Matilda Sacco, Renee Watts, Elaine Cordiano, James G. Dallessandro, John Golias Jr. and Lisa Smathers.

Besides her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, James "Jim" Dalessandro; brother, Daniel J. O'Brien; sister, Marnie O'Connell Keenan and a niece, Carmel Rinaldi.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 1pm at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish - Blessed Sacrament Church, 3020 Reeves Road NE Warren, OH 44483, with Rev. Christopher Cicero presiding.

Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in JoAnn's name to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Blessed Sacrament Church or the donor's favorite charity.
