Brian V. Dalessandro

Brian V. Dalessandro, age 43, of Orrville, died Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a period of declining health.

Brian was born on August 10, 1982, in Orrville, Ohio, to Dennis and Doris (Hopton) Dalessandro and always called Orrville home.

He graduated from Orrville High School in 2001 and worked for many years as a gymnastics coach at several gyms, including one as far away as Florida.

Brian had an extreme passion for gymnastics and loved competing and coaching. One of his many achievements included competing in the Jr. Olympics. He enjoyed being outdoors, he especially liked to go hiking. He was a true animal lover and liked anything related to Marvel and DC Comics, especially Batman. He held many fond memories of all of his childhood friends in the neighborhood while growing up in Orrville.

Surviving are his parents, Dennis and Doris Dalessandro; brother, Dennis (Tonya) Dalessandro; nephews, Alex Dalessandro and Zack Dalessandro; and maternal grandmother, Wilda Hopton as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Nick and Gert Dalessandro; and maternal grandfather, Cliff Hopton.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
