Jo Ann Hitchcock

Jo Ann Hitchcock, age 85, passed away on December 6, 2025. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Hitchcock. She was the loving mother of Gary (Jennifer) Hitchcock and Glenn (Dana) Hitchcock; proud grandmother of Ashley Hitchcock, Cody (Vanessa) Hitchcock, Bryan (Abbie) Hitchcock, and Cory (Logan) Hitchcock; and dear sister to Imy (Denny) Holmes.
Jo Ann was born in Coleman, Michigan to Opal and Emmett Moore on September 18, 1940. She was the youngest of 10 children and had a very special bond with each of her siblings. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, trips up north, and laughing with friends & family. The most important things in life were spending time with her family and providing for them. Nothing meant more to her than her family.
Jo Ann was always known to be servant hearted and extremely hard working. She always made sure everyone felt taken care of while still leaving room for many jokes and belly laughs. She was the best story teller and always extremely animated in the way she talked. This brought joy to everyone around her. She was a pillar of strength and always lit up a room. She was truly one in a million and will be deeply missed.
We will forever remember our wonderful years together and joyfully look forward to our reunion in Heaven.
A visitation with be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4-8pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home of Milford, 404 E Liberty St., Milford, MI 48381. On Friday, December 12, 2025, visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home of Milford starting at 10:00 am with a funeral service beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow at Milford Memorial Cemetery.
