On July 3, 2024, in Dallas, Texas, Jo Ann peacefully passed away surrounded by her family, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be treasured.
Throughout her life, Jo Ann poured her passion into baking, delighting all who had the pleasure of tasting her culinary masterpieces. Her dedication to her craft shone through in every cake she baked and every pastry she prepared. Beyond her profession, Jo Ann was known for her laid-back demeanor, quiet strength, and unwavering commitment to her family.
Jo Ann's spirit was truly special – spirited yet gentle, reserved yet deeply loving. She found solace in spending time with her family, cherishing every moment spent together. Her role as a parent and grandmother brought her immense pride and joy; she devoted herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and caring for her loved ones.
In remembrance of Jo Ann's extraordinary life, a visitation will be held at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas on July 15, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the Golden Gate Funeral Home on July 16th at 11:00 AM to honor and celebrate the rich life lived by Jo Ann Johnson.
While we mourn the loss of a remarkable individual, we find comfort in knowing that Jo Ann now rests peacefully in eternity. Her memory will forever remain embedded in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we bid farewell to Jo Ann Johnson – a talented baker, devoted family woman, and cherished friend – may we carry forward the essence of her spirit: love deeply, live fully, and treasure each moment as she did throughout her life.
Rest in peace, dear Jo Ann. Your light will continue to shine brightly through those whose lives you touched profoundly.
