She was born December 28, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA; the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Ehmann) Benner.
Jo Ann was a foster parent for seven years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. Jo Ann was a bladder cancer survivor.
Survivors include her daughter, Andrea Corynn Hunt; sons Micheal (Melanie) Kurdziel, and Dante' Bruno; grandchildren, Brandon M. (Cheyenne) Hauger, Jason A. Hauger, and Jordan A. Kurdziel; great grandchildren Carter M. Hauger, Colton Hauger, Camdon Hauger, Corynn Hauger, Carliegh Hauger, Braydon Hauger, Bryson Hauger, Henry Hauger, Zara Hauger, True Faith Hauger, and one on the way; one brother Russell Benner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Edward "Eddie" Kurdziel, and granddaughter Heather Hauger.
Per Jo Ann's wishes cremation will take place and a Celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Rosman Funeral Home in charge of assisting the family with cremation.
