Jo Ann Babb Staton, 83, of Anderson entered into the gates of heaven, and to reunite with her husband Johnnie Staton, Monday March 30, 2026.

She was born in Greenville County to the late Alton Fletcher and Sarah Caroline Pitts Babb. She was a member of North Anderson Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was survived by her son, Ronald Staton of Anderson; daughters, Angela Royals (Mike) of Anderson and Sandra Fincannon (Larry) of Westminster; brother, Jerry Babb (Linda); sisters, Rita Phillips, Betty King (Hilton), Shirley Keaton; grandchildren, Justin Staton (Liana), Holly Driver (John), Savannah Usry (David), Austin Blakely (fiancé Alyse), Ashley Lynn, Caroline Haynes (Briana, Brayden Harrison, and Landon Baker); great grandchildren, Adriana Staton, Luca Staton, Cole Staton, Isaac Driver, Levi Driver, Lucy Kate Usry, and Charlotte Usry.

She was preceded by a sister Cathy Tate.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday April 2,2026 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Rigsby officiating. Burial will follow service at the Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday from 1:45 PM until 2:45 PM at Cox Funeral Home.

Flowers are accepted or a memorial to Hospice of the Upstate.

Family will be at their respective homes.

Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
