Jo Ann Thompson

Jo Ann Thompson, age 71, passed away in Madison, Mississippi on January 28, 2022, after a battle with liver cancer. Jo Ann, a native of New Orleans, LA, was born on July 13, 1950, to the late Helen Johnson Thompson and Lawrence Boyer Thompson, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Judy Anna Thompson of Madison, Mississippi. Jo Ann was a retired Jefferson Parish teacher (Grace King) and taught part time at other local schools. She also worked at a local casino. Private graveside services will be held in New Orleans at St. Louis #2 Cemetery at a future date.
