Joan lovingly transitioned from this world, leaving behind a profound legacy of kindness and cherished moments. Born and raised in Michigan, she embraced a new chapter of her life when she moved to Neshoba County in 1969, where she formed meaningful connections and positively impacted those around her.
Her journey at Nemanco spanned many years, culminating in her retirement in 2005. Beyond her career, she found joy in reading, hunting for treasures at yard sales, preparing delicious meals, and listening to music. However, her greatest fulfillment came from nurturing her family ties and spending quality time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Doyle Agent of Philadelphia; daughter Denice (Mike) Miles of Philadelphia; son Richard (Dawn) Wooley of Bonne Terre, MO; and four beloved grandchildren: Taylor Miles, Deanna (Clinton) Richmond, Kacey (David) Haung, and Kelsey Wooley. Additionally, she took immense pride in her three great-grandchildren: Addison Richmond, Abigail Richmond, and Emilia Haung. She is also survived by her sister, Marcia Taylor of Frankenmuth, MI; and her daughter-in-law, Sharon Wooley of Bonne Terre, MO.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dean Wooley; as well as her parents, Floyd and Hazel Taylor.
In her honor, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire us all.
