Born in Ozone Park, New York - Joan Brennan, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on April 10th. She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a cherished friend to many. Joan was sister to the late Robert Platz(Maryann), and Carol Homiak(Donald).  Joan was happily married to the late Robert Brennan for 61 years and is survived by their 5 children: Joann, Kathy (Kevin Tinagero), Marjorie (Joe Pelcher), Robin (David King), Bob (Joyce Brennan). She was adored by her 10 grandchildren: Jackie, Shannon, Laura, Joey, Keith, Kevin, Andrew, Danielle, Colin, Thomas, and three great-grandchildren: Sonja, Nikhil, and Leander. 

 

Known for her glamorous spirit and vibrant personality, Joan was a force of nature who lit up every room she entered, she was always the life of the party, and a true rockstar until the very end. Her home was a place of warmth and hospitality, where she welcomed countless guests with open arms. Joan had a generous and giving spirit, and was the heart of her family.

 

A devoted member of her church community, Joan found solace and strength in her faith. She touched the lives of many through her kindness, compassion, and unwavering belief in the power of love.

 

Joan will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her joy for life, her unwavering friendship, and her welcoming spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

 

She will be dearly missed and may she find eternal peace with her beloved husband Robert.
