Joan C. Crook

Joan C. Crook, 82 of Litchfield, OH passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Medina, following a lengthy illness.

She was born January 20, 1944 in Cherry Tree, PA. Joan spent her childhood and early teenage years there, before her family moved to Cleveland when she was 17. It was there that she met Dairell Crook, and not long after, they married on November 20, 1960. Joan was hired by Ford Motor Company in Brook Park, where she worked on the production line for over 30 years. She and Dairell moved to Litchfield in 1985, where they established and worked on their family farm. Joan was a member of the U.A.W. She was a jack-of-all trades, and did everything from craftwork to making clothes for her family. They were her number 1 priority.

She is survived by her husband, Dairell; daughter, Darlene Crook; grandchildren, Crystal and Dairell Crook; and great-grandson, Mason Shane. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark; and 4 siblings.

Visitation will be Friday, February 20, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, OH, where her funeral will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 1 p.m. Chaplain Don Bolich will officiate. Burial will follow at Litchfield Cemetery.
