Joan P. Earll

Joan P. Earll, 85, of Tavares, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she worked as a computer programmer for the United States Navy in Washington, D.C where she helped to develop the computer system for the Patriot Missile System. Joan moved to Tavares in 2001 from Manassas, Virginia. She was a teacher and was a member of Bay Street Baptist Church, Eustis. She is survived by her son, Robert Terry Earll, Jr. of Maitland, FL; daughter, Robin A. Braswell of Brooksville, FL; sisters, Dorothy Jarvis of Leesburg, FL and Roberta Hunzinker of Washington, IL, as well as 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Services will be held at Bay Street Baptist Church, Eustis on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. The family will receive friends at the Bay Street Baptist Church, Eustis on Monday at 3:00 PM.
