Joan Epstein

Joan R. Epstein, age 91, of Columbus, OH and Chevy Chase, MD died Saturday, May 14, 2022. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and her sister, Sandra Olander. Survived by sons, Howard (Marji) Epstein and Daniel Epstein; daughter Ellen (Will Guthrie) Epstein; grandsons, Jason (Monica) and Adam (Rachel) Epstein; two great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Joan grew up in Columbus, graduating from South High School and studying art at The Ohio State University. In addition to being a beloved wife and mother she had many artistic pursuits including painting, printmaking, copper enameling and jewelry making. She and her husband were avid travelers, visiting every continent except Antarctica. Graveside service at 10:30AM on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the NEW TIFERETH ISRAEL CEMETARY, 2565 Performance Way, Columbus.
