Joan Fortunato

On December 29, 2025, Joan Fortunato, 89, of Long Island, New York, passed away peacefully. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank S. Fortunato, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.
Joan is survived by her loving sons, Frank S. Fortunato Jr. and David (Maureen) Fortunato; her cherished grandchildren, Michael and Julia Fortunato; and her dear sister, Lorraine Dalton.
Joan and her husband spent ten memorable years living abroad in Hong Kong and Brussels, an experience they treasured and which allowed them to travel extensively throughout the world.
Throughout her life, Joan was accomplished in many pursuits. She devoted herself as a homemaker, worked as a real estate agent and jeweler, was an avid collector of Asian antiques, and was a published interior designer. She also found great joy in golf and spent many happy years playing with friends in Florida.
Joan deeply missed her husband after his passing and is now reunited with him. She will always be remembered as a loving, supportive, and devoted wife and mother.
