She was a fighter for sure! Such grace and humor too in spite of her health challenges over the decades. I miss knowing that she is no longer here; I just learned of her passing this week. She sure raised great kids and as a teacher, I knew plenty of "tweens", teens and junior college age people. Joan and Freddy's kids have such class! Diane Bove

So terribly saddened to learn that Joan had passed away. She was kind, happy and endearing. It was a pleasure to work with her at Project Extend. Joan will truly be missed.

Our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Fred, Kristen, Joseph and the whole family. Joan was an inspiration in her battle, a true warrior. She and Fred raised two amazing children who will no doubt continue to make her proud. Fly free sweet Joan and rest in peace.
