Central Falls - Joan A. (Walsh) Gribbin, 95, of Central Falls, died Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Bethany Home of RI surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis "Hank" Gribbin.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Aloysius "Leo" and Laura (McKenna) Walsh, she was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier Academy, Providence, and had resided in Central Falls for most of her life.

Joan was an avid gardener, and enjoyed reading and crafts. While she was a resident of Blackstone Falls, she participated and flourished in all activities. She was always providing refreshments especially her famous Brownies. She was a communicant of Holy Spirit Parish, Central Falls, and was a member of the Holy Trinity Women's Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Bachand of Seekonk, MA Colleen Gribbin of Cumberland and Kathleen Raposo of Norwood, MA; two sons, Daniel Gribbin of Lake Mary, FL, and Jeffrey Gribbin of Harrisville; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Christopher Gribbin; and the sister of the late Patricia Bingham, Janice Lawson and Robert Walsh.

Her funeral will be held Friday, November 21, 2025 at 9:00 AM from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Saint Mary's Church, 103 Pine Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours on Friday from 9:00 -10:15 AM.
