Joan K. Groman

Joan K. Groman, 58 of Walnutport, PA passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024, at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's in Bethlehem, PA.
Born November 2, 1965 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of Richard Schwechten, Sr. and the late Dorothy (Derr) Schwechten. She was the wife of Terry Groman, who she spent many loving years with.
Joan was employed by Infinera in Allentown, PA as a manufacturer in electronics. Prior, she worked for Lucent Technologies in Allentown, PA. She was a Veteran, proudly serving in the army as a military police woman.
Joan was an avid fan of The Pretenders Band. She enjoyed hunting with her Brittany Spaniel, Brixton. Riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, playing guitar, and tending to her farm; whether it was gardening or caring for the farm animals, Joan enjoyed it all. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, and daughter that will be missed dearly.
Surviving along with her husband Terry are daughter, Christine Steward of Lawrenceville, GA, sister, Kim Brong of Bath, PA, brother, Richard Schwechten, Jr. of Roseto, PA,
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday February 22, 2024 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 PM up until the time of service. Interment will follow at Zion Stone Cemetery, Kreidersville, PA.
