Joan Doll Jackson, beloved by many, passed away on May 1, 2024, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. She was born on August 2, 1936, in Henry County, Kentucky.

In her professional life, Joan dedicated herself to a long and fulfilling career as an inspector at the former Teledyne-Wirz factory in Carrollton. Her commitment and attention to detail left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of working alongside her.

Joan had been a member of the English Baptist Church. 

Joan Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. Doll on September 8, 1964 and Dorothea Lawrence Doll on October 25, 1990. She also joins her beloved husband, Andrew Franklin Jackson, who passed away on April 14, 2022; her daughter, Kimberly Garrett, who departed on April 2, 2024; and her brother, James Earl Doll, who left this world on January 13, 2020.

She is survived by her daughters Deborah Garrett and Crystal (James) Montgomery, both of Carrollton, KY; as well as her brother Raymond Bradley Doll of Turners Station, KY. Joan's legacy lives on through the memories shared with family and friends.

Services to celebrate Joan's life will take place at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home located at 809 Highland Ave in Carrollton. A visitation will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM on May 11, 2024. This will be followed by a Funeral Service starting at 1:00 PM at the same location with Rev. Chris White officiating the service.  Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton,
