It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Joni Briski. She was a devoted mother to Kevin Briski (Susie), Kim Jones, Rob Briski, and Ron (Ruth) Briski and a loving grandmother to Kameron (Angie) Jones, Reese Jones, Belou Briski, Hailey, and Amanda Briski.
Preceded in death by Mary Steiner (Mother), JR Rueth (Partner), and brothers Dale Lochel and Kevin Lochel
Joni dedicated over 35 years to Shorehaven, where she rose from nurse’s aid to HR assistant. Her work ethic, kindness and compassion touched countless lives.
Upon retirement, she embraced her love of golf, joining the Paganica women’s league and serving as treasurer for over a decade. Her passion for the game led her back to work at St. John’s Golf Course, where she found joy in servicing, playing and socializing with fellow golfers.
Joni‘s creativity knew no bounds. She delighted in crafting Cabbage Patch-style dolls, hand-woven award-winning baskets, and sewing beautiful blankets as loving gifts. She possessed a friendly competitive nature at the card table with her cherished friends, who meant the world to her.
Frequently heard from Joni...”Go Pack Go!! and Lets Go Brewers!!!”
Though Joni has left this Earth, her warm smile and her laughter lingers. Her kindness echoes in our hearts, and her legacy lives on in every life she touched. Joni Briski will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and eternally loved.
