Joan Karhoff GLANDORF Joan Karhoff, 68 of Glandorf died 3:47 a.m., Sunday, January 11, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 1, 1957, in Lima to the late Thomas and Edna (Recker) Riepenhoff. On April 24, 1982, she married Dennis Karhoff and he survives in Glandorf. Other survivors include two daughters: Jennifer Karhoff and Rachel (Kyle) Hall both of Glandorf; three grandchildren and one on the way: Aspyn, Cohen, and Carver Hall; siblings: Alvin (Judy) Riepenhoff of Glandorf, Roseann (Dave) Hermiller of Miller City, and Linda Ellerbrock of Ottawa; and two sisters-in-law: Virginia Riepenhoff of Glandorf and Rose Riepenhoff of Ottawa. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Roger Riepenhoff and Donald Riepenhoff. Joan retired after 29 years with Farm Service Agency USDA. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of the Ottawa Senior Citizens Center, a charter member of South Avis Social Club and a former girl scout leader. Joan enjoyed canning, crocheting and puzzles but first and foremost she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 15, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Fr. Matt Keller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Wednesday and 9 to 10 a.m., Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
