Joan Webster Knight, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 4th, 2025. She was born March 2nd of 1952 to the late Kingfield and Virginia Webster. Joan had a love for gardening, as well as a love for animals. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Hazel; and her brothers, Glenn, and Clarence. She is survived by her loving husband, Chuck Knight; children, Christopher Martin Knight, and Michael Channing Knight; grandchildren, Samantha, Christy, Shyla, Katie, Austin, Summer, and Bryson; great grandchildren, Ezra, and Olivia; sister, Ann; brothers, George, and Ray; nieces, Jennifer, Barbie, and Jessica; nephews, Hunter, and Blake, and several other nieces and nephews. The family will be holding a memorial service for Joan on Thursday, March 6th at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to your local animal shelters.

The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
