Joan Manno, of Yonkers, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025 surrounded by loving family. She is survived by her son, Lawrence Manno (Valerie), her daughters, Karen Byrnes (Kevin), Susan Michitsch (Walter), and Nancy Lippolis; her grandchildren, Sandra Lepore (Christopher), Jessica Melton (Thomas), Carmine Lippolis (Pru), Tracee Byrnes, Paul Lippolis (Amanda), Michelle Parinello (Steven), Christina Perlman (Ray), Kevin Byrnes (Nicole), Andrew Michitsch, Dominic Manno, and Matthew Michitsch (Alana); and her great-grandchildren, Gabriella Lepore, Joseph Melton, Sophia Lippolis, Briana Parinello, Leo Lippolis, Isabella Parinello, Juliette Lippolis, Justin Lippolis, Rocco Lippolis, Kevin Byrnes III, Lucy Perlman, plus one on the way (Michitsch February 2026). She is also survived by her brothers, Richard Wighton (Grace) and John Wighton (Rhoda).

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, Carmine Manno, her parents, Charles and Edna Wighton, and her brothers, William Wighton and Charles Wighton.

She was an active congregant, a Eucharistic Minister, and a Rosary Altar Society member of St. Bartholomew's Church.

She had a beautiful 90th birthday party with family in June. Her last big celebration!

She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Nanny, and Nana and always put her family first. She was loved and will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
