Joan Metzner Obituary

Born in Queens, NY to Frederick Hoertz and Lillian Kemmann Hoertz, she lived in Rockville Center, NY before moving to Mendham in 2000.
She was a secretary and a homemaker.
Joan was a member of the Mendham Area Seniors and also volunteered at the Historic Speedwell Assoc.
Her family and everyone who came in contact with her, will remember her for her kindness, generosity and good hearted nature.
She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Lillian Hoertz and her brother Kenneth Hoertz along with his wife Joanna, and her brother in law, Donald J. Healy. She is survived by her sister Alice V. Healy of Mendham, her loving niece Nancy Jones and her husband Jerry, along with several other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear grandnephew Donald Sullivan along with several other grand nieces and grand nephews.
A private memorial mass will be held in the spring.
