Joan L Miller

Joan Miller, age 90, of Colby, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her residence on Monday, November 3, 2025 under the tender care of Aspirus Hospice.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Riplinger. Pastor Jeff Siegel will officiate. Interment to follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery Riplinger. Family and friends are welcome from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
Joan was born on September 5, 1935, the daughter of Harold and Frieda (Zitzer) Block in Colby. She graduated from Colby High School. On September 20, 1958, she married Raymond Miller, Jr. at St. John's Lutheran Church Riplinger. Together they farmed in the Town of Colby. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2017.
Joan was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Riplinger.
Joan is survived by her five children: Jesse (Kim) Miller of Parker, TX, Joy Miller of Marshfield, Jody (Gary) Viegut of Abbotsford, Jewel (Michael) Schuette of Mosinee, and Jason (Tina) Miller of Dorchester; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother, Jerry Block and a sister, Judine Block; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; three grandsons: Josh Miller, Justin Ress and Dustin Weiler; and two brothers: John and Jay Block.
