Aunt I think is the word that best describes what Joan(Joanie) was to me. Although we hadn´t been close in some time as life will carry us all on separate courses, I will very much miss aunt Joanie. My fondest memories go back as far as babysitting me and my brothers as children. But most specifically memory serves me as seeing her in the kitchen at her house on Christmas and having us over for trick or treating on Halloween, uncle Louie always in his favorite chair by the tv. But even more maybe seeing her at the Salon always with my sister Yvonne and the wonderful staff where we would all go for the best hair cuts and her smiling when we came in. She was always kind to me and I thank her for that always. May the last steps along her path be lighter and carefree, and may she find peace in the clearing.
I will miss you aunt Joanie
