NORWOOD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Joan Anne Reagan, 85, a resident of 381 Pleasant Valley Road, Norwood, will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Church in Norwood with Rev. Raymond Moreau presiding. Mrs. Reagan passed away at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Joan is survived by her two sons, Randy and Cassie Reagan, Colton and Ron and Kate Reagan, Wellington, FL and Colton; her five beloved grandchildren, Alexandria and Kyle Laughlin, Victoria and William Lint, Shannon and Josh Reagan-Baldwin, Jack Reagan and his fiancé Anna Vlachos, Taryn Reagan and Drew Renner; four great-grandchildren, Liam Lint, Nora Lint, Dorothy Laughlin and Elsie Laughlin; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Peterson, Norwood as well as nieces and nephews. Joan was pre-deceased by her parents Dwight and Tulla and brothers Eric Peterson and Richard Peterson.
Born in Potsdam, NY on June 7, 1940 to the late Dwight "Earl" and Tulla "Mae" Place Peterson, Joan graduated from Potsdam High School, Class of 1958 and continued her education at the Central City Business Institute in Syracuse, graduating with honors in 1959. Joan married Robert E. Reagan on November 9, 1963. Bob later passed away on January 27, 2023. Joan worked as an Administrative Professional for many years, working at Clarkson University and Potsdam Central School. In her free time, Joan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, homemaking activities, cooking for family, knitting and crocheting, taking care of her plants and flowers and watching Dancing with the Stars. Memorial donations in Joan's memory can be made to the Potsdam Rescue Squad or the West Stockholm First Responders and memories and condolences may be shared online at www.buckfuneralhome.com. The Buck Funeral Home in Norwood is serving the family of Joan Anne Reagan.
